just 2 weeks ago that ended up 6-6 is not as bad as Miami losing on the road by 4 to a Syracuse team that finished 9-3?

Not trolling, just curious....

They both stink. Everyone after 6 stinks by every other year's standards.

With 12 we have to take some stinky teams.

Bama is actually dangerous if good Milroe shows up. They are hammered dogshit if bad one does tho.

Did you mess up a word?

I don’t think anyone is saying Miami’s loss to Syracuse is worse.

What is Miami’s best win?

I dislike the gumps as much as the next guy, but I think you should look at who they beat.

Bama beat Georgia, LSU and Mizzou.

Miami's best wins are Louisville and Duke.

This is not even close to being comparable.

Yes, they both have bad losses, but the wins favor the gumps bigly. It's not even close really.

I would put Ole Miss and then South Carolina in front of Miami.

Can someone explain why UG is in when the refs are the only reason why they "beat" a 7-5 Georgia Tech?

If they both dropped 6 spots, how have you ascertained one loss to be worse than the other?

"why did Georgia lose to said Bama team"

What does that have to do with my question?

Because that would have their best win if they had pulled it out. The reality is based on Miami's resume, they're a glorified g5 team. Bama at least showed that they can put it together and beat a top 10 team, Miami never did, and based on all their results, their near misses along the way, there's enough evidence to suggest if they played a top 10 it wouldn't end well for them.

The hardest game in Miami’s schedule would be the 6th hardest on Bama’s

Hope that helps

Good answer....

You know, we CAN actually have a decent discussion on this forum when the adolescents don't show up in a thread. Which doesn't happen to often, unfortunately. (sigh)

Margin of victory or defeats is not used to measure teams unfortunately

Why you talking about Alabama?

Miami should be ranked below both USC and Ole Miss as well.

So both have 2 iffy losses and Bama has an additional loss to @Tennessee? Whereas Miami doesn’t have a game in the same stratosphere of difficulty

It’s been explained in this board and by the committee. At this point in time if you haven’t got the answer you don’t want to find it and are just upset because you hate Bama. That’s all that’s left.
