I see the uproar tonight. The problem isn’t Bama, it’s every other team losing that opened the door. Miami’s loss has them behind Bama. OM shite the bed. Big 12 turned into a 1 bid league.

I hate to say it, but Bama has as much of an argument as SCar and OM. Chaos created this.

That said, I’m not convinced Bama can string together enough good quarters of football to knock off 4 good teams in a row.

You’re probably right but you can’t win if you aren’t in.

Everything you posted is true. It's fun to make fun of the sky screamers in here, but honestly I'm just excited we might get one more game that feels like it has meaning this season. I have absolutely no expectations that we might win the whole thing, or even a single game.

Only one team will.

They should have kept it at four teams.

I’d honestly be shocked if they won more than 1. But teams can get hot.

Wholeheartedly agree. It feels dirty celebrating being in when the team is 9-3.

Bama’s too bipolar to expect to run the table, but I’m glad there’s hope.

So you’re saying a team that lost by 21 to shitty OU isn’t very good?

It’s the big arse 12 team playoff. There aren’t 12 deserving teams but you gotta fill the damn thing out if this is going to be the system.

It just highlights the entire 12 team playoff is dumb.

This weekends game with Texas and Georgia doesn't really have that much meaning. Instead, everyone is going to be most interest in a #8 team playing a #17 or whatever rank Clemson has. Because it's the one with the most potential to shake things up.

The claim is that it would make more games have meaning, but all it did was transfer it. And now you've got a ton of teams that have some type of claim on that last spot when none of them remotely deserve to really be in a playoff.

Well, there's a good chance the first 2 games could be ND or PS and Indiana or Boise. That would be a pretty good start. I think Bama wins those games easily.

We tried to warn them for years. But noooooo, they said. Gotta expand. Give more teams a shot.

We are gonna be playing this game most years in the 12 team era, a few really flawed teams are going to be duking it out for the final spot.

There’s a reason no one is actually melting about this. No one actually deserved the last spot. We had the path lined out for us and we choked.

As it stands, we would play Notre Dame, and then SMU. Not sure who the 4 good teams are you’re referring to, but overall I agree with your point.

No we aren’t but we are talented and we have a coach who is built for playoff football. We may win it all. A three loss champ makes me sick but if we have to have one…Bama

I'm somewhat torn, but I think I like the 12 team format better. I am jacked about playoff games with teams playing in their home stadiums. That first weekend is going to be awesome. I'm calling it now. At least one of the first round participants will make the championship game.

Hell no we can’t. Our QB is schizophrenic. You never know who’s gonna show up.
