Yeah, I would guess the main drama tonight for Alabama's chances is just to be ahead of Miami and South Carolina. I expect that to happen.
The real drama is would who fall out between SMU & Alabama next week if SMU loses to Clemson.

Make no mistake, this is a business with advertising and ratings. Alabama is a national brand with a huge tv market. We bring more money, ratings and fans vs anyone else thats in position for the last spot

I just do not trust the committee at all. I could see them put us in this week and then pull a fast one next weekend. Of course that could also be the other way around too lol.

The fans include the haters. No one has more hardcore haters than Bama
All these people that constantly bitch about Bama will instantly turn on a game if they see or think Bama is losing. They contribute heavily to the Bama ratings
Last year I highly doubt FSU-Mich would’ve drawn the same ratings as Bama-Mich

If Saban was a Don Corleone Godfather character in real life, would he give the committee "an offer they can't refuse" in insisting Bama be in, or would Saban really not care, or would he even prefer Bama not be in?
