From the way I see it, there is only one spot up to the committee. 11 of the 12 spots are locked in.

1. In, but doesn't play: ND, TENN, OSU, IU (4 spots)
2. Both In: Ore vs. PSU, TX vs. UGA (4 spots)
3. Winner In: ISU vs. ASU, Clem vs. SMU (2 spots)
4. One of these 3: Boise, Tulane, or UNLV (1 spot)

Which leaves BAMA, SC, Miami, and Ole Miss left to claim the 12th spot.

Who SHOULD get the last spot? And who do you think WILL get it?

USC or Ole Miss deserve it. Bama or Miami will get it off brand.

I hate to say it but Bama, the bias on that committee is too patent and with guys like Saban and Rece Davis on ESPN (directly affiliated with the CFP btw), you KNOW they're gonna lobby the shite outta the committee to get the Tide in.

SMU if they lose to Clemson (Clemson gets auto-bid as ACCC)

Bama if SMU wins

Not Ole Miss because of losses to Kentucky and Florida.

Not Miami because of no halfway decent wins.

Not SCar, which was blown out by Ole Miss and lost to Bama but has been rock solid as of late.

Bama because of H2H over SCar and brand.

My hunch says:

ALABAMA !!!

Why? Because Alabama is good for TV ratings.

Nah seeing how far Miami fell with a loss I’m sure the committee will leave SMU out with a loss.

I assumed SMU would be out if they lost, but maybe not.

Right now it should be South Carolina.

SC has a blowout loss to Ole Miss.

Alabama has a blowout loss to terrible-arse OU. (This should immediately disqualify them)

Ole Miss has no blowout losses and is 13 points shy of being undefeated.

Most likely answer, but it's wild how one cares they got embarrassed by Oklahoma 2 weeks ago

I thought about that, but basically, it's a best-of-a-bad-situation answer and Bama fans would make the CFP committee's life hell if SCar was put in ahead of them.

To me, as a UGA fan who has seen the committee not give on single frick about SoS, I believe a 2 loss SMU, with one of those losses coming in an extra game, would get in over a 3 loss SEC team.

So SC and OM fans should send the committee death threats so we are on the same standing as Bama. Got it.

Hey man, all I'm saying is the CFP is scared of Bama. Look at FSU in 2023.

You just can't put Ole Miss in there with a home loss to Kentucky and a loss to UF.

How can you put USC in with a blowout loss to OM at home?
