Hank and Holden both transferring. My predictions are that Hank does to UAB with Dilfer and Holden goes to Ga Southern to get closer to home.

Yeah weird that it was reported on then he denied it. Wonder if he changed his mind after he heard Holden was leaving or maybe just didn't expect the news to leak already?

Who knows. They went 3-9 this season with a bunch of BAD losses. There were articles speculating his demise in early October. He still has 3 years left on his contract but his buyout is like $3.6MM if they let him go after the new year. $4.1MM if before. That doesn't sound like much when comparing P4 money coaches get, but I've read more than one article saying they probably wouldn't bite that bullet.
So, in other words, we will see. IMO, they need his arse gone yesterday. They had such better options to go with last time around and went for the "splash" hire because he had a face everyone had seen on ESPN for years.

That's what I read, but then saw the number (it has offset mitigation in it as well) and it's not really that much. But I have no idea about UAB's AD financials.
