I have never seen a more delusional fanbase/program/team than Auburn Football.

They talked so much shite while being on a 4 game losing streak in the series and having a 5-6 record on the year. Not only that, but talked all that before a game being held in Tuscaloosa and not their voodoo BS on the plains! Just delusional every year!

Years ago ... it had to be 20 years ago, it was before his show became a freak show ... Finebaum had a national analyst on there, can't remember who it was, who basically said no one outside of Lee County, Alabama, should ever have any expectation whatsoever that Auburn University's football team should be an annual contender for the national championship, that a realistic expectation for them would be winning most of their games, going to a bowl every year and maybe once every decade or two putting something together and contending for the big trophy.

Auburn's prospects have really suffered with Georgia doing well. It used to be that they had to contend with one juggernaut rival in their recruiting space. Now they have two. They were premature in firing Malzahn and have been suffering ever since.

Their world view and entire goal is to beat Bama, not win the SEC or a national championship. This is the attitude of a little program, a small minded fan base who has no ability to think big picture and big time. It’s a loser mentality.

They were in the championship game 2 years out of 4. Malzahn...as much as I hate to say it...was a better coach than either Harsin or Freeze.

The aspect of the Auburn brain that I really do not understand and likely never will is how so many of them genuinely believe that there is something special and unique about Auburn that sets it apart from every other big state school. Just...come on, y'all know your football coach has been accused of being creepy as frick with multiple underage girls right? And that your school, which you contend is some beacon of moral righteousness in a dark work, totally ignored that shite because you thought he could beat Alabama?

The player doing all the talking before the game is from Clanton (Chilton County HS) and that school never wins shite. I mean 4-6 or 6-4 most every year.
You never get any prestige for beating AU. The only thing you get out of the win is you don't have to listen to them for another year.
Kirby's success at UGA has done much to hurt the Barn since they depended on players from the state of Georgia all these years.

Honestly I don't care about the hookers stuff. It's fun to mock all of his fake Christian bullshite, but what two consenting adults do in private is none of my business. The stuff he was getting up to in Memphis as a high school coach, trying to blame Hootie Dale for all of his cheating at OM, harassing a sexual assault victim at Liberty, and throwing his players under the bus in at least 2/3 of his press conferences is what makes me find him to be an uncommonly vile piece of shite who has no business coaching 18-22 year olds. If you willingly let your son play for a man like that you're a garbage person and parent. He's a perfect fit for where he's at though.
