I've been consulting with my sources and we all agree that this Vols team is special and still hasn't even played nearly its best football yet this season.
Big time baseball season vibes brewing here
Our freshman QB is improving every game and our defense, running game and tight end play are all elite.
Nico is going to potentially have a lot more practices and games to improve himself and guess what?
He's improving greatly every game. It's just a matter of when not if when he clicks and puts together a perfect game.
15 tds to 4 ints only as a freshman ain't bad. He protects the football well.
Vols are like that March madness team with a dominant defense, some nasty bugs and a 3 point shooter who is this close to getting hot.
You don't want us in your bracket. Period.

Tenn doesn’t have enough offense to win . Defense will keep them in games but Nico isn’t good enough .

Nico is drastically improving. He played UGA on the road better than our superstar 2022 QB Hooker did even. Remember... freshman QBs get better!!!!!
I feel like all of you think every QB is a 5th year senior or something.
It's our pass protection that's my biggest concern not Nico. If Nico gets time, he's a completely different QB.

195 yards with one interception no TDs compared to 167 yards no TDs and zero interceptions.
Nico had piss poor pass protection didn't turn the ball over and had a few big plays called back.
UGA's defense is very tough to beat in Athens.For a freshman he did well. Heuple went brain dead in the second half and abandoned the running game which put all the pressure on his freshman QB.

Pili was a massive loss for our run and shot game pass defense no doubt. It's made us weaker up the middle especially, but our other guys been stepping up as well. It's hard to lose your best leader on that side of the ball and not feel it just a little. I've been very impressed though how our other LBs been stepping up.

UGA saw what Tennessee had to offer already.
The reality is from our perspective Tennessee is not the type of team to generate concern. Teams with dangerous passing attacks (particularly with an aggressively running QB) can be an issue for UGA. That's not Tennessee.
Nico had 167 yards against UGA. He's only topped 211 yards twice this year... once in his first game against UTC and the other against UK. He may become good later in his career, but right now he's not a threatening QB at all.
Without that, I'm not worried about Tennessee.
As far as improving every game... his last 3 games were 174 yards passing vs MSU, 167 vs UGA and 209 vs UTEP. The only thing he seems to be doing better at is handing the ball to his RB.

You barely beat Kentucky and got blown out by a very spotty Ole Miss team.
Stop acting like your crap doesn't stink because UGA is far from perfect and capable of losing to any ranked team if Beck has an off day.
This is the playoffs now and you have a championship game to get through first as well.
