Personally, I would’ve dropped them further than 13 after that whoopin by OU.

Bama isn’t a top 25 teams. Losses looking worse. Wins looking worse. Nothing adds up.

Doesn’t Vandy have to beat Tennessee for that?

Vandy is not good.

Alabama is the Michael Meyers of college football - no matter how many times you think they are dead, they keep coming back

If USCe beats Clemson they'll jump Bama.

As an Alabama fan I don't want to be anywhere near the playoffs this year.

Because that makes total sense seeing as Alabama beat South Carolina.

Yeah, it would be complete bullshite. If South Carolina jumped Alabama oral mess then again this committee seems to be filled with morons.

If SC beats Clemson, at Clemson, by two TDs or more, and Bama barely beats Auburn, then there's a chance ... but that leaves the Ole Miss question and Ole Miss vs MSU is not gonna be close.

What is in SC's favor is how badly we beat Oklahoma at their place and IF we finish with six strong wins in a row vs Bama's weak finish IF they squeak one out at Auburn.

If Auburn beats Bama ... the Ole Miss question remains.

I'm not so sure. The two teams in front of SC both beat SC head to head and both would have the same record assuming all win this week.

While they will all move up a spot if SC beats clemson, I don't know if anything other than that will change. Yes, it will be a very good win for SC... but the fact they lost to BOTH the teams ahead of them will be difficult for the playoff committee to overlook.

Maybe they'd do it if SC's name were... Alabama. But the reverse? Doubtful.

To me, Ole Miss is the bigger issue for SC than Bama.

SC lost to Bama but it was close and it was at Bama.

But Ole Miss kicked SC's arse in Columbia.

They did... at Alabama by 2 points. If it were just a comparison between Bama and SC then I could see SC coming out on top.

The problem for SC is that Ole Miss is in the mix too. And Ole Miss beat SC at Columbia by 24 points. With the comparison between all three teams and SC having lost to both of the other two, with one loss at home, it's difficult to imagine SC not being behind both with the same record.
