Does the offense count carry over between years, or do you get to start over in the new academic year? Asking for a friend...

It is cumulative and it carries over from year to year. They reset it when they increased the fines last year, but it doesn’t reset each year.

It won’t surprise me to see them increase fines again as they aren’t yet deterrent.

What happens if opponents throw trash on your field and then the SEC tries to fine the home team?

Why would you guys rush the field? When is the last time you beat a Top 5 team at home? Do you even play ranked opponents at home?

Another valid question.. especially if "fans" of one team are dressed as the other team..

It's similar to the interference rule in baseball.. If I'm in the outfield in the first row of the bleachers, and I reach over and interfere with the outfielder, it's an out.. even if the other team hit it.. that's kinda messed up..

You get your arse kicked and you end up in jail. Not necessarily in that order, but both will likely happen.

lol, it was a joke, but we did do it in 1995 at Kyle Field after the last SWC game was played

The SEC is going about it all wrong. They are fining universities who can't control what 50k drunk fans are going to do.

They'll reset for Texas as long as fans throw a shite ton of water bottles to intimidate the decision makers.

They were ready to storm Georgia, but it didn’t work out.

Nebraska fans ran on the field at Kyle in 2002...what happens apparently is that it starts fights.

That bullshite call remains the angriest I’ve ever been at sports, and it’s not diminished. Total and complete shite.

I’m stupid. I was thinking 2011. I have no idea why I read, and even wrote, 1995 while thinking about 2011

My question is since OU got fined twice for Saturday’s game (but both at the $100k rate), will the next offense be $250k or $500k?

I would think $250k. One was for actually rushing the field. The other was for doing it when there was still time on the clock.
