SEC teams by unranked losses and ranked wins...

Some Texas fans are saying that losing to unranked opponents is a bigger deal than beating ranked opponents. So I ranked the SEC teams first by losses to unranked teams and then by wins over ranked teams. I'm wondering if Texas fans agree this is how the teams in the SEC should be ranked right now.
1 - UGA - 0 unranked losses. 3 ranked wins (Clemson, Texas, Tennessee)
2 - OU - 0 unranked losses. 2 ranked wins (Bama, Tulane)
3 - UF - 0 unranked losses. 1 ranked win (Ole Miss)
T4 - Texas - 0 unranked losses. 0 ranked wins.
T4 - Mizzou - 0 unranked losses. 0 ranked wins.
6 - SC - 1 unranked loss (LSU). 2 ranked wins (Mizzou, A&M)
T7 - Tennessee - 1 unranked loss (Arkansas). 1 ranked win (Bama)
T7 - A&M - 1 unranked loss (Auburn). 1 ranked win (Mizzou)
9 - Alabama - 2 unranked losses (OU, Vandy). 3 ranked wins (UGA, Mizzou, SC)
10 - LSU - 2 unranked losses (SoCal, UF). 2 ranked wins (SC, Ole Miss)
T11 - Vandy - 2 unranked losses (Georgia State, LSU). 1 ranked win (Bama)
T11 - Arkansas - 2 unranked losses (OkSU, LSU). 1 ranked win (Tennessee)
13 - Ole Miss - 3 unranked losses (UK, LSU, UF). 2 ranked wins (UGA, SC)
T14 - UK - 3 unranked losses (Vandy, UF, AU). 0 ranked wins.
T14 - MSU - 3 unranked losses (UF, Toledo, Arkansas). 0 ranked wins.
16 - Auburn - 4 unranked losses (Cal, OU, Vandy, Arkansas). 1 ranked win (A&M)
That ranking seems a bit wonky to me. I don't think the Texas fan theory about ranking based on avoiding unranked losses holds up well.

Does the ENTIRE conference really have exactly ONE nonconference ranked win?

Is it fair to say that Texas is just Mizzou with an easier schedule?
Both haven't lost to any unranked teams. Both have lost to every ranked team they played. Both had struggle wins over Vandy as their big wins this year.

troll troll troll your boat..
We have 4 common opponents
Missouri 3-1 ( -2 margin )
Texas 3-0 (+56 margin )
Looks the same to me.

If Mizzou's QB were healthy?
The home team.

All I got from this is that Texas shouldn’t be ranked and therefore UGA’s schedule is way over hyped considering what happened yesterday.
Also…

Who knew the defending national champions would tank their own season by having a QB room filled with retards?

NCST was ranked when we played them on a “neutral site”

You haven't played A&M yet so they're not a common opponent.
So both are 3-0 against their actual common opponents. Mizzou is +29, Texas is +56
Difference of 10 point MOV to 18 point MOV per game. Both were without their starting QB for one of those 3 games, but Mizzou does have a bigger dropoff from Cook to Drew Pyne than Texas has from Arch Manning.
Cook being injured accounts for nearly all the difference in those 3 games. Mizzou beat OU with Pyne at QB by 7. Texas beat OU with their starter by 31.

Is that ranked as of today or ranked at the time of the game?

Honestly, I think most reasonable people saw the number of seniors and super seniors that Michigan lost last year and realized they wouldn't be a top 25 team this year unless they got lucky with schedule.
They had something like 35-40 seniors leave last year. Their title was entirely build on covid eligible players in their last year.

Today.
Time of game rankings are stupid. GT beat FSU when they were ranked in the top 10. FSU is a 2-9 team this year. Anything that counts that as a "ranked win" is a very stupid way to look at the sport.

Geez. Sorry for asking for clarification.

Whats amazing is our only losses are to 4 of 5 ranked teams (SC will be ranked this week) but we also have 2 wins vs ranked teams - and did this with a hodge podge lineup due to so many injured.
We beat Bama badly with these players out, meaning a lower player played instead.
Oklahoma beat Alabama without its:
WR1
WR2
WR3
WR4
WR5
WR6(hurt during game)
CB1
Cheetah1
LT1
LG1
C1
RT1
RT2
And we dominated Bama. So many freshmen getting playing time we’ll be good next year.

That might the dumbest thing ive ever read on the Rant and there are some absolutely terrible takes.
Texas who is what 23-3 the past couple seasons who recruits ad a top 5 program is the same as Mizzou lololololol. Either a bad troll or truly fricking stupid

Yes, Missouri is the same.. maybe even better than Texas, but there is good news.
I just subscribed to premium and I’ll be ignoring your posts from here on out..
And that’s a W in my book.
