I get it. Seems like he would concentrate on the guys who just won the game first though. Guys who fought hard for that win.

I’m not sure you do. I’m sure he DID give his players props in the locker room speech, ANNNNND he showed the recruits the kind of culture they are building. The two are not mutually exclusive. War Damn Hugh Freeze for doing that.

Also consider that the current players participate in the process. They welcome recruits, hang out with them, show them around.
