Saban wanted to explore other options at QB in 2023. The team mutinied.

Frick these jokes. An unproven QB forced the hand of the GOAT with his cronies. Insiders have said this is true. These frickers can’t get off the team soon enough!! “NIL forced Saban out”, honestly I think this particular NIL group did it!

Milroe should be benched this weekend against Auburn. If any of his locker room buddies want to quit as a result take away their scholarships. Cleanse the wound and start healing.

The bullshite that comes with NIL is not going anywhere, even after the giant flashing lighthouse of a problem at QB is gone.
This is just college football now. Everyone else is dealing with the same things.

Y’all remember when Saban spanked AJ??? And then AJ won us back to back while being tough as nails? Or hell, when Jalen got his job taken on the biggest stage, stuck around and killed it in garbage time? Then won us the SEC championship? They all respected Saban! These guys didn’t/ don’t!

They tried other QBs last year who stunk it up against So. Fla.

The Big Ten seems to be doing really well. Greg Sanke is a bitch, got worked with the 12 team playoff and conference expansion. B1G is building their brand while ESPN (Disney) is happy to feast off SEC.
Scheduling this year was a joke in Big Ten.

Saban left DeBoer in a terrible situation with the Milroe crap.

Per Josh Pate sources inside the football building in Tuscaloosa told him the OL mutinied over the QB situation and didn’t block that day resulting in the offense falling apart.
Go rewatch that game and just focus on Booker. Then watch Booker in any other game and tell me something wasn’t off.
That OL almost got Buchner and Simpson killed in Tampa against a horrible USF team.

... and Booker is a captain.

He looked like Captain D’s last night.

Along with Milroe.
And Moore who cussed out the DC and refused to leave the field against Vandy.
How many plays did Moore sit for after that? Zero.
We have a major locker room issue that will have to be addressed in the offseason.

You're 100% correct. The offense mutinied in that game. The RBs didn't run particularly hard. Receivers half heartedly tried to catch passes, dropped a number of them that were pretty easy catches. And most glaringly, the offensive line completely and totally mailed it in.
Buchner and Simpson both took some vicious licks that were completely on the O line. To me, one thing that spoke volumes I noticed was several times Simpson took a tough lick and his linemen were near by and not once did any of them help him up. That was their way of saying "f*ck you, Simpson and CNS".
Love Nick and all he did. He's still the GOAT. HOWEVER, I bet in his heart of hearts, he wished he'd nipped that little rebellion in the bud by immediately benching the entire offense other than Simpson and put the entire second team offense out there on the field.
And for the record, while Simpson wasn't great in that game, for those who want to bash him, go back and watch that USF game. Dude was running for his life almost every passing down and still managed to get some passes off.

I feel for Ty. Really do. He seems like a good guy and he’s a talented quarterback. The clique within the team wanted Milroe and that cemented our fate. I hope that they’re happy.

Saban suspended Milroe. The backup QBs showed that they sucked against South Florida. The team didn't have a rebellion against Saban. It was a hangover game and they played like shite, except for the defense who balled out and only gave up 3 points. Then there was the odd lightning delay.
Saban did his best coaching job last year and would have won a national championship if his center didn't completely screw up several times in the semifinals and cost Alabama the game.
Face it, DeBoer was handed the keys to a Lamborghini and crashed and burned. Alabama's backup QBs are not as good as Milroe. The coaching staff was completely outclassed by two 5 loss teams and then decided to have Milroe throw the ball 45 times against Tennessee.

The off-season started last night when the clock hit zero. Playoff hopes are dead and we’re going to a meaningless bowl after we probably lose to Auburn in Tuscaloosa. It’s time to hit the reset button. If Jalen and his buddies wanna sit out, let them sit out; they wouldn’t see the field again. When Milroe is on he’s great. But the occasional greatness is not worth the putrid lows and the mediocre normal play that we get from him. And the mid and the high seems to only happen at BDS. Put him on the road and he looks like a bad 2A High school quarterback. He’s not worth it. We’ve seen his best and we’ve seen his worst and the negatives far outweigh the positives. Flush this group and if we lose to Auburn with the second string and third string playing all day, so be it.

This is s sad thing to read, but it’s the truth. A decent defense shuts Milroe down. Take away his running, he is limited. LSU, Missouri, don’t have the defense that’s why we looked so good the last few games. I hoped we would keep it going against Oklahoma and it wasn’t about the competition, but it was, is and Auburn can do the same thing against Milroe.

He did an amazing coaching job, but again it should have screamed volumes that he said “Frick this ****, I ain’t going through that again,” and got out of Dodge.

I just can’t believe that. If that’s the case then heads should roll.
