Did Bama just lose too many guys this year to be top-tier successful?

One of the top WRs in the country in Bond. The best DB in the country in Downs. One of the top centers (albeit he had snap issues). Just lost the defensive captain (who calls plays) our best d-lineman last week, and the starting safety off the Natty winner last year in Saab (a bit earlier).

This doesn’t even include those who left/graduated to the NFL, not to mention the GOAT coach.

Are we expecting too much?

Caleb Downs has one INT in the year, and that was today.

This team has enough talent to beat Vandy and OU if the QB who can’t read a defense doesn’t hand both teams 14 points each via turnovers because he cannot read a defense.

Why the dumb motherfricker stills sees the field through two head coaches and three OCs is anybodies guess at this point if the goal is to win a National Championship.

I don't think Bond or Downs would have made much of a difference this year. We could trot the 72 Dolphins out there and still shite the bed with Milroe under center.

Alabama is two plays away from being 6-5 right now.

The coaching staff has been a massive failure. Alabama still has one of the most talented rosters in the country.

They were three plays from 8-4 in 2023, three plays from 7-5 in 2022, four plays from 7-5 in 2021. These problems, especially in road games, have been going on for a while.

No. Alabama has more five stars on our roster than any team in CFB history. Unfortunatly we have a coach who can't motivate his team or make any meaningful in-game adjustments and that's enough to sink us in the SEC.

The saddest thing is he will be here for years. This program is going to be Shula era bad for a long time.

We need to make a coaching change. It will be unpopular in some circles but its inevitable at this point. CKD will not be sucessful at Alabama.
