So Duke isn't a good team because they lost to Kentucky?

Way to discount the quality of your own team...

You clearly don't understand

Media somehow treats duke like they are an amazing under dog story while also treating them like a perennial power house.

We took a dump on them last night. It's a special feeling

No. Duke is a good team.

But during the broadcast you would’ve thought they were the second coming of 76 Hoosiers or something.

Yeah that broadcast felt a little uneven, with former Duke player and assistant coach Jay Bilas gushing over their team all game and then kicking it to former Duke player Jay Williams at halftime to pick up where he left off.

And did you know Cooper Flagg is just 17 years old?

They must teach dribbling when you turn 18

We know about talented teams losing. Kentucky was not as talented as Duke but they were ferocious. Just like Auburn against Houston they toughed it out. Two marquee wins for the SEC and it isn’t even Thanksgiving. It is early but these wins help the entire conference come NCAA tournament time.

I think they talked about Flagg's and Knueppel's families more than the actual players for Kentucky.

I felt a little bad for him, he was so gassed by the end, he struggled to focus, and luckily Kentucky was able to take advantage of that.

The Duke love fest was undeniable, but I suppose it makes sense. I'm thankful for the win. Pope is going to do great things. He's made a competitive team out of players who didn't know each other 6 months ago.

Could have had Dukie V there gushing over them. Oooh diaper dandies, Cooper Flagg is a PTP.

And to be fair they were kicking our butts the last ten minutes of the first half.

But the game is 40 minutes and Kentucky got stronger as the game went along.

When you lose to a stripped-down Kentucky team that supposed to have been blown out, it puts questions about Duke for the rest of the season; especially since Carolina will be good this year.

A decline was inevitable post-Coach K; this could be the start of it.

And now they have been exposed and have some issues.

Amazing job putting together a team from scratch. A bunch of guys that wanted to play for Kentucky and never thought they would. Now they are and they left it all on the floor. Proud of their fight and this was with Jaxon Robinson having an off night.

Kentucky was impressive last night. Pope is very good coach who knows how to implement his style and find guys who fit it. Exactly what you want in a modern college basketball coach.

I saw that. What a ridiculous thing to say.

I hate that Jay had that motorcycle accident and had to work his entire adult life at ESPN being a Duke homer. He could've had a 10 year NBA career.
Still beats a real job I guess.

Carr had just gone dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble turnover but thankfully Flagg returned the favor.

It takes mainstream sports media about 2 months to drop a narrative once they have decided on it.
