All of these teams are playoff worthy but 2 will get left out.

Texas
Tennessee
Ole Miss
Georgia
Alabama
Texas A&M

Pick the 2 that won't make it and explain why.

These 2 won't make it:

1) Georgia - the loss to Ole Miss killed them. But if that ain't enough, I'm calling Tenner to beat Georgia.

2) Texas A&M - Longhorns can do a hella lot more damage than a bunch of Roosters, as you saw what happened there.

1) Tennessee - loses to Georgia

2) Texas A&M - loses to Auburn, loses to Texas, finishes 8-4

Texas vs LSU in the SEC CG

1 Texas
2 Alabama
3 Ole Miss
4 Georgia

It’s the loser of the Tex/A&M and UGA/UT games.

What is the SOS for each? If I were on a committee it’s certainly something I’d want to consider.

So y’all say Tenner is out of consideration with 2 losses? Why - losing to Arky?

And same with Texas - out with another loss? Are we sure about this one

Common opponents say otherwise.

SoS and best wins.

If Texas loses to A&M their best wins are Vandy and Florida.

Bama - UGA/LSU/SC
UGA - Tex/Tenn
OM - UGA/SC
A&M - Tex/ LSU
Tenn - Bama
Tex - Vandy

Honestly, who knows at this point. It's going to come down to the last weekend.

Total guess: I think UGA beats UTk.

So, winner of Aggie vs Texas and Bama make it in. Not sure if that meshes with the SEC generator tool though. But, it seems right.

1) A&M - Loss to Texas eliminates them with three losses

2) Ole Miss - Not sold on them even finishing with two losses, but not a big enough brand to get in ahead of other schools and that Kentucky loss is bad

Yes considering that UT has the worst SOS out of the 6.

It’s not much better, but it isn’t worse than Kentucky. And if we lose to Georgia, that also wouldn’t be worse than LSU.

Uk is 1-6 in conference. OM lost @ home.

Arky is 3-3 in conference. VOLS lost at Arky.

So yeah, it is

Who you beat is more important than who you lose too.

By the end of the season, UT SOS will likely be higher than OM
