I have no idea why the players responded to that with anything but a collective eye roll. That was cringe as frick.

No kidding.
I feel like 80/20 mix of enjoyment of your team’s success/laughing at other team’s failures is just about right.
Have to shift that percentage closer 50/50 when your team sucks though just as a survival/coping mechanism.
