Locker Room Issues

Something is off with this team. It feeds off its leader, the QB. Beck isn’t a leader in any form and has never displayed emotion other than laughing at Rashada trying to help him. The team looks it just doesn’t care. Maybe NIL is partly to blame, maybe coaches - but even when we had bad coaches they fought. This goes deeper. And I’m starting to wonder if Beck is a cancer in the locker room. Thoughts?

If it’s the clip I’m thinking of, the only thing I guess you could say is that it’s possible the locker room is starting to lose faith in Beck and his ability to turn it around. But it could also be Kirby getting out in front of that idea before it festers.
Idk man. It’s hard for me to sit here and blame any one guy when the OL got their arse killed with OM rushing 4. That allows them to mix and match and do whatever they want in the secondary and always “be right”. It makes Bobo almost always “wrong” because he could dial up an absolutely perfect play and we’d never know because there wasn’t enough time to see the throw.

We did the same thing against Tx and their OL was supposed to be all world.
I’ll never be able to figure out how the same group of guys can look like different teams week to week ….but we’ve seen it all over football for years.
I mean, the same Bama team that pummeled LSU last night lost to Vandy and should’ve lost to USCe.

This team will rally and play well down the stretch.

Yep. We’re just not as good as we’ve been. Simple as that, plus the RB room is devastated.

You started this thread and you are still denying the “rumors” from earlier in the season. There is more than 1 position group that has issues with Bobo and how they’re being utilized. The transfer portal may be unkind to UGA this offseason.

It’s a perfect storm. Beck has regressed in a historic fashion, the WR room is average due to some big misses in recruiting, and the game has passed by the once very good Mike Bobo.
Kirby has a tall task in front of him this offseason. Have to nail some takes in the portal and upgrade what is probably his worst overall coaching staff.

Living in a suburban home, driving a lambo, with a mouthy mid tik tok girlfriend while signing private jet contracts is about as far from being a college qb as one could ever imagine.
