Obviously Milroe’s 12 rushes for 185 was the highlight last night but I LOVED the commitment to the run from the RBs and the mix in of the WRs on the run game as well.

29 carries for the RBs with 4 more mixed in from the WRs.

Even though did not get many explosive plays from the “other than Milroe run game” (except R Williams one big run), I think this did nothing but help Milroe be so efficient running and passing. Took some game pressure off him and kept LSU off balance. We need to commit to this even if the RBs YPC isn’t great, it is setting up other things and maximizing Milroe’s efficiency.

29 carries from RBs and 4 more mixed in from WRs.

Absolutely loved the game called by Sheridan.

He called a great game. Jalen missed a few TD throws but I jumped out my seat on the screen pass to Miller. I've been calling for those type plays all season

Miller and Haynes are outstanding players. Their ability as pass receivers is very impressive on top of their ability as runners. Also hope that we can get Law even more involved as he gets closer to full speed from his injury in the UGA game. He can be such a weapon in this offense.

We need more from the tailbacks. Better defenses are going to make Milroe hand it off and stay in the pocket for throws. Something to build on but our tailback production in the run game was adequate given Milroe had easy money runs all night.

I second all that. I do think the RBs lack some vision that would make them really good, but they all are serviceable backs

Rb's had a nice game receiving. Jam 5-50, Justice was 1-9. It seemed like Jams catches converted a lot of 3rd downs(10-13). Of Jalens 109 yards passing, rbs had a little over half.

He missed one.

The other was a drop due to the rain

His calls for Milroe were timely and took advantage of LSU perfectly.

His calls for the running backs were abysmal. The run schemes are embarrassingly bad. The 4th and 1 call is a prime example. Too much trying to cram it up the middle with not much attempt to run stretch plays or toss sweeps. The counter played that was called worked well, and then never happened again.

Sheridan seems to be able to add wrinkles in off weeks but has no way to use them to set the defense up for something else. Georgia was an example of seeing things done early and then disappearing later.

Lsu is atrocious vs the run. You saw what a true freshman mobile qb for Aggie did to them, right?

I suspect the offense will have to be a bit more exotic in Normon and vs barn. I'm not saying I want to abandon the run. Far from it.

But last night's offensive plan won't score 42 vs OU or barn.

Agree 100% with the screen pass to the RB. That was a welcome sight.
