Hugh Freeze says "we are debating" what to do at the QB position heading into the final 3 games of the season. Will he make a change?

I truly don't understand Hugh's statement on Thorne.

It means that the other QB's are even worse than Thorne. There is nothing confusing here.

This reminds me of the confusion and conspiracy theories over why Dee Davis wasn't getting a shot over TJ Finley. If you have seen Dee Davis' stats since he transferred from Auburn, the answer is that he never got a chance because he wasn't even as good as Finley was.

Not sure what there is to not understand. He doesn’t want to just shite on Thorne so it’s coach speak to say they are looking into possibly playing a younger QB since we don’t gain a ton at this point playing Thorne, but isn’t certain at this point if they will or won’t yet.

Are we forgetting Hank started two games?

Hugh's saying that anybody is going to have to have his head on a swivel. This is not a PT thing it's a complete and udder offensive failure.... he's just a part or symptom of something bigger. What's the first video we saw of HB after his start.... it's was him taking (solo) snaps, dropping back, and getting set.... over, and over, and over. I'm sure the d was faster than he ever imagined (with our line).

Still I'd script a quarter with one and the next quarter with the other if it''s WW and HB. Otherwise go with HB, use to run to set up the passing game, and don't worry about them knowing what you're capable of. Three-D chess is for later. Make the other team beat you (for a change).

We are a shitshow with nothing to play for. Why start the guy that won't be here next year? It's pointless.

I'm not sure I'd take anything Freeze says to the bank.

Pretty solid - Leads team to two losing seasons in a row.

Here comes the 2 Qb system

He’s holding out hope that the team would somehow pull it together, coalesce around Thorne, win the next three games, end the season on a high and hold on to our recruits like dear life.

Narrator: None of this will happen. A&M and Bama will be highly motivated to play out of their minds to stay in the playoff hunt.

I’m not. The offense looked the most efficient in the NM game, even in a monsoon. Then Hank makes a few freshmen mistakes in his first SEC start, and Freeze pulled him with a quickness and let the triple pump chump do what he does best…lose games.

It's classic coach speak? Not like he's going to come out and throw Thorne under the bus.

That was Freeze trying to CYA to appease the grumbling IMHO. Not all 3 of those INTs in the 1st half were Hank's fault.
Then PT comes in 2nd half and shits the bed, our playcalling is ridiculous, we go away from pounding the running game (which they could not stop along with OK, Mizzou, Cal), and CHF has his excuses ready.

When we blew the Missouri game it was past time for PT to be retired and put the young guys out there and turn them loose. Nothing to lose, they should play loose and let's see if we have a Diego Pavia riding the bench for 9 games...

Why not?

I don’t believe HF.

He is not man enough to bench PT.

Guaranteed. Don’t anyone get any of your hopes up. Please don’t do it to yourself.
