Texas opens up as a 20.5 point favorite. That's a lot of points. What do you want to see from Texas this week?
I want to see a commitment to establish the running game.. We will need it later in the year and this will make it harder to just blitz blitz blitz all day long.
Thoughts?

I could not agree more. I would also like to see better communication up front, and for Quinn to build off of the Vandy game.

Yes, we must get the running game back on track even if that means playing Jerrick Gibson who apparently can't pass block and opposing D coordinators know this.
I know the RB room is already pretty sparse, but winning our remaining 4 games is the only way to guarantee a playoff spot.
Oh, and winning the SEC in our first year would be pretty sweet as well, but first things first.

Run game would be cool, but I want to see the amount of penalties and penalty yards minimized. Also, I want to see better pass pro.

I would like to see us throw the ball beyond the line of scrimmage, like maybe 10-15 or even 20 yards down the field. Is that too much to ask? lol

quote:Physical OL play. Play action off of that with TE boot & shots downfield. On defense, get to Floridas 3rd string QB early & often.

Texas and Johntay Cook mutually part ways this morning.

Steve Sarkisian says the departure of Johntay Cook was mutual.

In what areas do you think Florida will test Texas? I don't know anything about their team, but I know a little bit about Texas'.

Florida has some good athletes on the defensive line.

How's Texas' OLine? I know there was a lot of hype before the Georgia game, but I don't know how they've performed since. I've gotta admit I'm hoping the Georgia performance wasn't a one-off, but I'd be surprised if that was the case.

There were 3 guys on the Texas OLine that were projected for day 1 and 2 of the draft. But they been playing like crap the last 3 games unfortunately. So, who knows how they'll play tomorrow morning. If they clean up the penalties and give QE the protection they are suppose to, Texas will be fine. Florida is missing a lot of players.

Want to see early season QE with command of the offense.

Quinn. Jesus Christ. You are not the same QB you started this year. That seam route is wide open. You do this alot. Also, you're captain check down. I wish the real Quinn ewers would come back.
