If the rumors are true and Bert is benched, then we may be able to count on field goals again.
As much as Ohio is talented and clicking, any team can be beat. If we are able to disrupt their offense and throw Howard off rhythm, we may be able to keep it close, and then it's just a dogfight. And we have more experience with those types of games.
All the pressure is on Ohio, we play loose and fast, mistake-free ball, and we have a shot.

Quinn gave us two chances to win the game in the 4th quarter. Bert misses the kicks. Quinn balled out in OT and made back-to-back-to-back scores, like a boss.
He's led us to two 10+ seasons and back-to-back playoffs with another chance to win it all. I've not been this happy since Vince and 4th and 5.
He has my respect and I take back all the bad things I've said about him. Hope he has an Alabama-like performance against OSU and we go on to win it all.

I like LSU, I just can't stand Brian Kelly. LSU has been the one SEC team that I used to follow and enjoy watching until he took the reigns.

Having essentially home-field advantage... I expect Texas to show out and OSU fans might be saving money for an expected championship game. If we can pack the house and yes, play off that disrespect since nobody is giving us a chance, we may just keep it close and shock the nation.
Honestly, as each day goes by, I'm starting to believe we actually have a chance. We have the players, we just need to put it all together and minimize our penalties. And I think Bert's record at AT&T is certainly better than down in the Atlanta Coliseum. lol

The teams in the leagues will be up or down and vary each year, but if you win all the games on your schedule, you are in with this 12-team playoff.
He's right though, it's hard to get a team up for every single game. That is what differentiated Saban from others. You can have all the ponies, like Lane did, but if you can't get your team to play at peak level, you will drop a game or two... or three.
Just win the games on your schedule.

AT&T in Dallas is a weird stadium, personally, I don't like college games played there. But the majority of the crowd should be Texas fans, the opposite of the Peach Bowl.
Perhaps Ohio gets overconfident, we get mad at the disrespect... it could turn into a game.
But more than likely we'll get throttled.

I like many, would like to see him scramble a little... I think that would boost his confidence as long as he was smart about it. And then open up a lot more of the field for him. And if he would start throwing the long ball to the open receiver, as opposed to where he thinks he'll be, I'll be ecstatic.
Our defense is playing very well, but Quinn has to get in a rhythm and be comfortable if we want to close these last two games out.
I can't even think past the next two games. HookEm!

That game felt ugly. Arch scored that touchdown, then again and again.

I really like Maalik, he's passionate, I hope he does well. But it was frustrating with his inconsistency.
