State has been really good this year. That’s about the extent I know about it but we rarely give up goals

State is the soccer version of one of those old school Alabama wishbone teams. They just throttle the life out of you.
As a conference we've got some teams that could make a deep run in the NCAAs.

Funny thing to post when you’ve started Track and Field threads

Carolina is one of the teams that actually scored on State this year. State won 2-1 in Columbia.
State is going to have the advantage over everyone because their midfield just wears you down and then they have the best defense in the country, and possibly will end up with the least goals given up in the history of the sport.
That being said, they are good offensively, not great. Its the only reason that they havent been awarded the natty yet. If someone can find a way to get two goals on them, State is beatable. See the awards above. 8 of their 11 regular starters are all-SEC, but only one forward, and she's third team.
I think Arkansas is the only SEC team that can beat them straight up without something crazy happening. There's about four ACC teams that can beat them too.

CNB, please don't tell me you like soccer! I've always figured you to be somewhat manly. How did you become so lost?

I’m not a fan of going into clearly labeled threads to say “who cares”

That was a big goal for Carolina. That extra pass did it.

Ball game. 2-0 Carolina. No one has had a two goal lead on State all season.

SC absolutely destroyed State. Wow.

Shocking final score.
State gave up more goals against Carolina (3) than they did the entire SEC regular season (2).
