I don't want to hear we don't have enough money. Let's keep the staff together. If we're not looking now then we deserve this!

The offense will improve in year 2 under Petrino.

It helps that we're playing the right QB now.

The team will not, TWill is a first half of the season coach, his team quits around game 9 every year. And Pittman is god awful at everything, instilled being a quitter is ok in the whole damn team. Hasn’t fixed the line in 5 years.

Battle cry for the Petrino fans

He's ours for at least one more year. Might as well accept it.

He is gone.
5 years is enough.
5 years is enough.

Sure but not after a game like this.

Won't matter. Pittman wins la tech and he can stay.....these other games don't matter since we stole the Tenn game. He can say bowl game with a major upset we're on the cusp of turning it and make a case to keep staff together. That's what they've been working towards all year...

He will either retire from health reasons, or be back for year 6...

I have zero attachment to Pittman at this point. I just don't want to lose Petrino.
If you told me I had the option to fire Pittman and promote/keep Petrino, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Did not like how he just threw the O-line under the bus by calling them cheap players at all. Even if it is true. That's a good way to lose your team.

If Green sticks around and we can get a little help through portal or development on the Oline we will be pretty damn salty on O next year.

The guy who got fired in year five at Louisville for going 2–10 (technically 2–8, since Louisville had balls and didn't wait), then went five, eight, and five wins at Missouri State. Meanwhile, Sam Pittman is likely to make a bowl in year five in a much harder conference, and we're rightfully wanting him gone.
BP's been a head coach for nine total years after Arkansas. He's never gotten above nine wins in three different stops, and it's usually been eight or fewer wins. Which means he's probably good for even less here. This isn't 2003–2011 Bobby Petrino. This is 2013–present Bobby Petrino, and the same thing happened to him that eventually happens to every "offensive guru." I don't know how people can't see that he's not the answer to our problems, and all this strife goes back to him at the root in the fricking first place.
He can't recruit worth a shite, his bosses won't go in on NIL to help mitigate that weakness, his defenses are nonexistent, and he's not on the offensive cutting edge anymore. Just keep Pittman if this is the plan. We're not serious about football, anyway. Might as well.

That Tech game won't be easy when you quit.

There is absolutely no reason we should get embarrassed like that at home in year 5 of Pittman as head coach. I don't give a flying frick what anyone says, absolutely no excuse for what we saw today.

Or just be the same as this year.

We're 7th in the nation in total offense a year removed from being one of the worst in the country. We can't really have much of a conversation if you think Petrino is the issue.
Petrino's tenure at Missouri State was the best run they've had in 30 years.

If Green stays he will get better under Petrino. The line is the real question. Still have a lot of young guys on it. Mateos has his work cut out for him.
