If drink wants it, good for him.

My FiL is a minor booster for Florida and has said after Kiffin the money wants Franklin.

Yeah heard it's Kiffin then a series of names that have to say No ... Drink was on his list at 2-4 ...

If they were smart, they'd go grab Indiana coach on the cheap ...

Cignetti agreed to a six-year contract starting on Dec. 1, 2023 and running through Nov. 30, 2029, with an annual base salary of $500,000. In Year 1, he will earn $3.5 million in annual outside, marketing and promotional income.

If Indiana beats OSU ... he'll be their top choice. What he's done at Indiana (and James Madison before that) is pretty solid ...

I'd take the Indiana coach here. I watched what he did at JMU and was impressed.

Nobody is getting that guy on the cheap. Right now it appears he is head and shoulders above the rest of the college coaching world.

Cignetti was Saban's right hand when he took the Bama job. He can coach his coaches and finish in recruiting.

Drinkwitz might say yes, at some point he might think that he's hit his peak here.

I think there is a real chance he feels that way. It feels like that to a lot of fans, too. There is no excuse for massive regression from last year on offense.

Drink had an 11 win season in the SEC so his name will pop up in future coach searches.

He is the American success story. He came here from a small school, worked hard, did well - and now he has options.

I am happy for him but think he has unfinished business here and hope he stays.

I do too but he needs to recruit a top flight quarterback.

It makes you appreciate Gary Pinkel's ability in that area all the more.

I agree with this. Would like to see him have a trip to an SEC title game. He is dorky but seems to work hard and care about his players.

Gotta get a QB outta that portal….

Drink is a high school coach with exceptional recruiting and CEO skills ..his handling of QB position the last two years caught up to him...the jig is up..at 9 million we can have anyone ...75-10 in your two biggest games is not acceptable ..sorry not sorry
