Beaner sounds like a gassy dude. No wonder there's smoke... maybe there's fire.

Shane Beaner sounds like a dooshbag who can't seem to leave the Hispanic ladies alone.

The only reason Oklahoma should consider hiring Beamer would be if they have a serious thing for guys who kind of look like Skeletor. There is nothing else to remotely recommend him for that job.

Lmao there is a few podcasts, a few articles, and an ON3 article with BV’s buyout.

Beamer has a worse SEC record at SC than Will Muschamp did. OU fans would riot if he was their top choice.

I literally searched Shane Beamer to see if there is anything on A&M yet, and there is 2 SC podcasts first on YouTube with Oklahoma listed. I’m going to listen to one to see what’s up.

Beamer doesn't have the track record yet for a program like Oklahoma.
If Oklahoma is going to get rid of their coach and hire another within the SEC, the logical answer here is Stoops.

I think Stoops is going to retire and not look back.

Neither did Venables.
OU rolled the dice big time on letting a proven DC take the reins in his first head coaching job ever and it has not worked out.
OU is in some kind of trouble. This doesn’t just seem like a bad year for them. This feels more like a crossroads of what the next 3-5 years is going to look like.

First of all, this is all a bunch of nonsense.
Secondly, Beamer has nowhere near the necessary creds.
Third ... he'll never leave here, unless he's fired. This is his home. He was born here, as were a couple of his kids. He loves it here. He's spent many years here as a kid, as an assistant under Spurrier and now as the HC ... he ain't gonna leave here anytime soon (depending upon his ability to get the job done).
He's said, flat out, he has every intention of retiring here. This job is perfect for him. Average 9 wins a year, over time, go to some playoffs here and there ... he'll be treated like a god.

But Venables was a product of Ok. It made since at the time.
Besides, anyone with half a brain can see that Ok's main problem this year is the injury bug. It was bad timing for sure, but the admin would be stupid to pull the plug after how bad injures bit them this year.
The same thing happened to SC last year and people didn't pay enough attention to it and wrote them off from the beginning. Not that SC is setting the world on fire but they've been competitive in all of their games this year except 1.

Would they call him Shane Boomer?

I'm not wish casting at all. If OU was going to make a change and go after a current SEC Head Coach, I think they would call Elko before both Stoops and Beamer. Lane could also be a wildcard. But I don't think they would hire any of those coaches..
Glenn Schumann however, might land that job.

That’s true. I agree with some of that.
Maybe OU will be okay. Coming into a new conference I’m sure they wanted to make a splash and be regarded as top of the pack. That obviously hasn’t happened and I think it’s going to be difficult for them to get there now that they are behind the 8 ball.
