One game at a time. USCe is still dangerous (as is Auburn), take nothing for granted and stay focused. It’s been a fun season so far and I hope that continues next Saturday.

Can't let Sellers get in a rythmn and their D Line is stout n active. That crowd is gonna be crazy... can't throw them the ball or lay it on the ground

Does Reed get the start? USCe is gonna have a full week to gameplan for him and Arkansas did a good job containing him after a week of prep. What is the move? Are we a 2 QB team?

im no fan of weigman, but i can see why they keep giving him a shot. Reed seems more effective as a spark plug off the bench.

I think we have to be as well. I saw something on Twitter that I kind of agree with, Reed had a good game against Florida cause they didn’t have film to prepare for him. Arkansas shut him down cause they prepared for him, Conner lit up Mizzou cause they only prepared for Reed. Seems like a 2 QB system may be the way moving forward

I'm not sure what is at the root of all of it, but if it's really that we can't put more than a week of good play on tape without running into scheme issues, that doesn't speak well of Klein.
Im guessing it's just two flawed but capable QBs who play well sometimes, but are not good enough to do it every week. Fortunately, most college defenses are not very good so you should be able to win a lot of games with the raw talent on campus. Can Elko, Klein and Bateman pull it off?

I will watch a little S Car defense after work someday, but curious on if S Car commits to taking away the run game or if they try to stay balanced n rely on that D Line for the most part. I don't remember safeties down in the box in their lsu game but I was talking n drinking more. TEs being REAL QUIET is prob gonna change if Thomas n Barber get doubled n bracketed

I'm more interested to know if they can score against us.
We haven't given up more than 24 points to any team this season, and I don't see that changing against SCar. If that's the case, I think we win.

Yeah I think you gotta let Conner start and once again if he doesn’t get it done let Reed in. Fortunately I don’t have to make those decisions so we’ll see what Elko does

Have the luxury of two QBs. Elko says despite being a junior, Weigman is not experienced and still needs many reps. He needs to slow down out there. I think you could start either and use both as needed. Thing is Reed is such an outstanding athlete, I could imagine using him along with Weigman. You know, trick play stuff. But I don't think the coaches will do that.

I think with time to prepare for him he is stoppable until his passing catches up to his running a bit.

For the sake of discussion, I am not sure if Connor is done or not. What I do feel is Elko will not go down with the ship if Marcel is unable to move the team at SC. But watching Elko and seeing his body language, I'd assume Marcel is #1 as of now. Weigman will play again. I feel bad for him. Starting as a five star recruit, he has to be feeling low now. But he has yet to play a full year or however many consecutive games. The stakes are high now.

He is Michael Vick like (not quite the arm strength). He’s got some Kyler in him too. I think his ceiling is sky high. But we saw some pretty mediocre performances vs BG & Arkansas. I’m rooting for him. I’d love it if he stepped up and kept the job the rest of the season and for seasons to come. But I think U of SC has the defense to give us trouble if we’re one dimensional. I want to win this game at all costs and I think Weigman slinging it gives us the best shot if he’s on. If not, make the switch again.
