Auburn 2-8 the last 10. Why is this? Auburn fans said Freeze was Saban level.

They're better than their record, seriously. I don't know what's going on between Freeze and Thorne, but it's a weird relationship. They're never in the same page. I can't believe Freeze made some of those calls late against Missouri.

He better be the one who called them. If Hugh allows him to stay in the game after he goes rogue, then things are even worse than they appear.

It is tough to say this as a UGA fan, but it sucks having Auburn and Florida be so bad. Really takes something away from our rivalry games.

Payton Thorne is god awful. He has heavily contributed to the loses this season.

In other words you wanted to say Freeze should stay on for next year.

I agree. Auburn has held their own in a lot of close games.
Freeze just needs to recruit better.

I’ve never heard of ANY Auburn fan that claimed Freeze was “saban level” … ever.

Here’s the thing …. there’s so much to legitimately criticize Freeze/Auburn about, you really don’t need to manufacture BS to claim a point.

Some people….. smh

Recruiting is the one thing Freeze is doing exceptionally well. He’s bringing in the talent that, if he continues to bring it, will take Aburn back up to the top tier of the SEC where it belong.

But it takes time to totally rebuild a program. It can’t be overstated just how far Auburn has fallen over the past five plus years from a talent standpoint. As I said this weekend, other than a handful of freshmen and our tailback, most of our starters would not be able to win a starting job at your average MAC program.

Simply put, Auburn doesn’t have the talent necessary to compete in the SEC right now. It’s getting better. But that takes time. And the worst mistake Auburn could make right now would be to ditch Freeze. The only thing that would accomplish is to drive what little talent we have into the transfer portal and destroy the top 3 ranked recruiting class being put together today. Basically, Auburn would be right back to square one. And they’d be back to square one with $20 million (I think that’s his buyout) less to work with.

Someone mentioned Florida earlier. They’re a perfect example of what not to do. Since Urban Meyer left, they’ve gone through like six or seven coaches in only 14 years. I don’t care who you hire, there’s no way to fix a program in 2-3 years that has a talent problems, especially in the SEC where you face the likes of Alabama, Gerorgia, LSU, etc.

You aren't an Ole Miss fan retard.

Are you going to get another spanking from the mods?

Hugh approves of this statement and asks for Auburn fans to do their part by upping their NIL contributions. You think wins over Cal just grow on trees?

As long as Freeze isn't calling the escort services I guess it's ok.

Not going to argue that point, but I don't think you can lay the Mizzou loss at Thorn's feet. Looked more like poor game planning and lack of effort on other players' part.
