I don’t think the monetary fine will have as much impact as will the banning of those found to have engaged in the behavior from any additional athletic events—not just football games—for the remainder of the academic year.

It’s the holding fans accountable part that has teeth. They have to video review and kick fans out of the game. And prove they did so in an audit.

Ban student ticket entries for a game. Punish the people that did it. They don't give a mother frick about the university being fined.
