Alabama ranked #15; can still make playoffs

We're ranked #15 so with a win over Mizz and LSU we no doubt will have the quality wins to be in the discussion
The question is will out headcoach do what needs to be done at offense and with the defense to get us those wins and make us a playoff worthy team

What gives you any optimism that this team is capable of beating LSU? Hell, Mizzou is a 50/50 game at this point.

The young guys wont understand it at all...but cfb is still very fun even in years like this. The best football game in terms of excitement from winning and atmosphere for me was the 05 UT game. The team was good but by no means a NC contender. We just wanted to beat UT...and we did for the first time in a long time.
There is a certain "hope" aspect of CFB that Alabama hasnt experienced much of in a long time. Though I loved every second of the Saban years, it was missing that. Certainly not a bad thing...just different. The hope that your team can win the game they arent supposed to win, take that step to get better, put together that "special" team is a fun part of CFB

You don't lose to Vandy and make playoffs. Plus, we haven't really gotten any better since that loss... We still look lost and the coaching staff seems to not know how to motivate.

Win out and Bama definitely makes it. That's going to be tough though, especially with the direction Milroe has gone. I hope we at least beat Missouri so the LSU game has a little more hype on it.

If Alabama wins out they will be in. But what in gods name has anyone seen from this team (outside of the first half aberration against UGA) that gives you the hope they can win out?

We have the talent, all the remaining teams on our schedule have their own issues, and a majority of our issues can be fixed (enough to win out).
I think winning out is certainly possible, but maybe not probable.

Bama can easily win out (10-2). The issue is and always has been consistency for this season. If we can put it together, there is only a handful of teams that can beat us.

Well arguably the hardest 2 games are behind them. I dont have much faith in the team winning in BR but stranger things have happened. I once completely gave up on a team that lost to La Tech, then UT...but that team remade itself and won the SEC, defeating a great Spurrier UF team twice

Bama isn't going to beat LSU this year. Kelly and LSU are headed for a great finish.
I think Mizzou is a good matchup for Bama. Much better to play them over UT or LSU.
Problem is Bama may have a large case of the Poor Pitiful Me's after the UT loss.
