Edit previous scenario was wrong.
UGA wins out, A&M bests LSU and wins out. LSU then wins out (beats Bama) (wins UGA tie breaker and goes to SECCG).
UGA could be the highest ranked SEC team and third in conference.
We get a home playoff game in Athens and skip SECCG!!!

We really should get rid of the SECCG.
Those SEC teams moving on to the playoffs will be better off not having played it.
Maybe give it as a consolation prize to the best SEC teams who don't make the playoffs?

UGA wouldn’t remain highest ranked in that scenario.

AM doesn’t have a conference loss, so if they beat LSU and win out, they are in no matter what. Maybe you’d have a similar tiebreaker situation with LSU, but I don’t really want to look up SEC opponents for each.

If UGA wins out it’ll absolutely be the highest ranked SEC team.

Exactly.
He says A&M goes 8-0 in conference but GA gets in over them???

If aTm wins out they will jump UGA.
If LSU wins out they jump UGA.
If LSU wins out they jump UGA.

You only want to make the SECCG if you can win it and get the bye. If you make it and lose, you can get in the playoffs and no bye so an extra game. Better to miss it and get in without the extra game. Weird scenerio

Maybe in the polls, not in the SEC rankings though.

lol, no they won’t.
Edit: LSU has a bad loss, likely 5-6 loss USC.
Bama at worst will be 4 loss but I doubt that.

Not with 1 less quality win.

If A&M beats LSU and wins out, then they are undefeated in the SEC. They're in the SECCG.
UGA and LSU would have 1 loss. Based on what you're staying, LSU would win the tiebreaker and play A&M in the SECCG.
UGA would be the #5 seed in the playoff at 11-1.
LSU (if they lost again in the SECCG) would likely be out of the playoff at 10-3.

He’s talking about the playoff rankings and SECCG.

As has already been stated, an SEC undefeated A&M would trump an 1-loss UGA
