If you had told me at the beginning of the season we'd be playing for first place in the conference in late October, I would have laughed.
I don't feel good about this game. LSU will be the toughest opponent we've played by far. But the fact that we're in this is a remarkable statement to what Elko and staff have been able to do with the wreckage from last season.

Here's to a really fun game for all...and safety for all the players. Our tailgate food might not be able to match up to the Legends of LSU ...but, it is available to our friends from Louisiana.
With it being a night game and if you get there early enough everyone should be good and drunk by the time we go to the game.

I’m actually pretty stunned myself. He went 7-5 in the ACC and I figured he’d be another shite show
Pretty weird that A&M and LSU are fighting for top dog last week of October. Could be adding some serious heat to the rivalry the next few seasons.

I have been pleasantly surprised. Elko appears to be a no nonsense coach committed to winning , what I thought Jimbo was, and seems to focus on the little things...

Elko took a 1-9 and 3-9 duke and had them go 9-4 and 8-5 the following seasons.

It's hard to pull top-tier football talent to Duke. James Franklin didn't get the Penn State job by tearing up the SEC. He got the job by doing better than could be expected with what he had to work with at Vandy.

Elko has been very good so far. Seems like a surprisingly solid hire with half of the season done
