10-19 Auburn
10-26 @ Alabama
11-9 Oklahoma
11-16 @ South Carolina
11-23 @ Miss State
11-30 Arkansas

I think 3-3 or 4-2 is the best we can expect, with 2-4 not out of the question.

We're going bowling.

Extend Drink to 2042.

Very different than I did prior to the season. The offensive decline wasn’t expected, and the defense is worse than I thought.

Not really sure I understand why it’s this bad really. That’s the frustrating part.

I am a homer but I still think we may figure it out. Last year's team was pretty mediocre up until week 7, when the fake punt TD completely altered the course of the season and we started dominating teams. I would agree that 3-3 is the most likely outcome, but I will be optimistic and say we still go 5-1. Which would put us on the playoff bubble with no signature wins (assuming we lose to Alabama)

I feel like there are 2 more losses coming, but no guess as to which games. The parity of the SEC is crazy

There is nothing more on brand than Mizzou losing badly mid-way thru the season and then finishing with maybe 1 more loss.

This season reminds me of the season we got smacked by Georgia like 34-0 and then went to the SEC Championship game.

10-19 Auburn 70% W
10-26 @ Alabama 90% L
11-9 Oklahoma 55% W
11-16 @ South Carolina 65% L
11-23 @ Miss State 70% W
11-30 Arkansas 66% W

Looks like 3-3ish to me. A little luck and 4-2. A lot of luck and 5-1. Some bad luck and 2-4.

3-3 is the ceiling reality unless Cook stops sucking arse or we start rushing for 300+ every game.

The worse thing Mizzou can do is look ahead at the schedule and prepare for Alabama today. I get it, they look beatable, but focus on Auburn.

Earlier, I opined an 8-4 record. Not sure now that we'll reach 8 wins, but even with 6 or 7 wins, we're going bowling!! Yay, boy-oh-boy. We're going bowling!!! (with a whole bunch of teams who lost half their games during the season)

Why are you negative?
I say only 1 more loss for the regular season.

I remembered that Drinkwitz talked about the quarterback controversy for the Texas A&M game. I don't think Drinkwitz prepared for the quarterback that started the game for Texas A&M. He was out since the first game of the season.

Agree on the South Carolina being the swing game. I think we can go 5-1 if we win that one.

But the way Cook has played…

If you believe Drink, he flat out said they were only going to prepare for Reed and not weigman.

I'm being realistic based on what has been shown so far this season.

The only glimmer of hope that I have in regards to figuring out what's going on with the offense happened before Cook got pulled on Saturday.

He made two very good throws there to Norfleet. If he can get back into that rhythm and start moving the ball. We should still end up where most thought us to be at the end of the season. 10-2.

5-1 as predicted before the season. We are right on schedule for 10-2.

Yea, we just have to figure out the defense side of the ball. While we looked better (it was UMASS), we still have some glaring issues. I don't think we appreciated our shut down corners as much as we should have last year.

Having Walker attempt to stack and shed OTs with a significant length advantage has negated his impact on defense. Allowing him to bend the edge creates openings in the B Gaps for the blitz to get home. Instead he is getting dumped on a lot 3rd downs because the OTs can handle his bull rush and the guard don't have to slide out to help. They are producing 5 TFLs per game and it feels like a gross underperformance.
