No way Kirby even considers that job. The Jets under Woody Johnson are one of the biggest jokes of an organization in sports.

Kirby is first and foremost a recruiter. The NFL negates his biggest strength. You can argue that NIL has taken the edge off of his ability to recruit, but it still plays a big part of the equation in college.

Avg NFL HC salary- $6.6m
Kyle Whittingham at Utah is the 25th highest paid HC in college. His salary- $6.3m.
21 college coaches make $6.6m or more.

I'd have to agree. The quality of life for a NFL coach has to be much better these days. The crazy thing is that they pay college coaches MORE than NFL "professional" coaches now...just another sign of how screwed up the college game is. But yeah, I'd rather make $7 million and not worry about having to constantly kiss the asses of 18 year olds. Used to be once they signed the arse kissing stopped. Now it's arse kissing 24/7/365. I don't care how much you're paid, that would get old...especially when you already have generational wealth sitting in the bank.
