Actually shocked that we gave a decent effort, esp in the first half. I would have thought Napier would have totally lost this team as bad as the coaching is. We have a winning record at 3-2, but are about to lose the next 6 games in a row, before we beat FSU to go 4-8. Just like I said in the prediction thread.

Hope Billy makes it to the end of the season before he gets fired, but I doubt it.

Nothing has changed. We're still playing with an offense full of kids who were at their senior prom a few months ago.

2 wins max the rest of the year, although 1 win is probably more realistic.

some people scoffed when Petrino brought his son in law in a WR coach, but our WR's are really really well coached right now I think

Our defensive coordinator has his finger on the pulse, and the secondary is as well coached as I remember in quite some time

I haven’t a clue. Inconsistent would be the word I would use

Honest assessment? Hogs can hang with ANYONE if we play a turnover free game. Running backs ate! How bout true freshman Braylen Russell! Twill will get a better job offer. His defense has been stout this year.

Pissed.

Why? Because if this team and Sam hadn’t stepped on their own dicks against Ok State and aTm, Hogs would be 6-0 and in the thick of playoff talk.

Arkansas is pretty damn salty when they get out of their own way.

Alabama has the athletic ability to win every game remaining on their schedule. They have the maturity and focus to lose 4 of them. We will see what happens and how the new guy responds. Hopefully it refocuses the coaches and the players. They probably needed to be humbled, but I would have much rather it have been with a struggle win.

Defense is good enough to win some games. Offense is still an issue but the QB seems to be getting better every week. Miffed by the performance against Carolina and we missed a huge opportunity against Georgia.

I picked 7-5 before the season. Likely still around there.

Pleased with our Oline play overall. Best Oline play we have had in 2 1/2 years. Definitely on the right trajectory with our power running game.

It's the first truly dominant performance that I've seen out of my Ags in awhile. There have been flashes of brilliance from this guy or that guy, but they finally pulled it together and flashed that brilliance as a team. If Elko has finally tied it all together, then I'm not afraid of anyone going forward.

I thought we were a long shot after week 1 to make the playoff, but among the 1-loss SEC teams our loss is actually one of the better ones.

Feels good man

We're 39th in the nation in total defense, and 34th in scoring defense

After our last 12 years, I"ll take it

Offense looks great (as expected). Defense looks better than expected but is untested. Our first defensive test will be against Georgia and they have a fairly average to below average offense.

I promise I'm not trolling, but Arkansas always seems to find new and creative ways to step on their own dicks against TAMU. Not sure if JerryWorld is cursed, but it's an uncanny phenomenon. That having been said, your team is pretty salty and has the ability to knock off anyone on any given Saturday.

Auburn is stupid with the football. The team has potential and the defense is keeping them in games.
QBs are trash obviously but we are finally using the running game more.
We do not know how to close. That’s inept coaching.
We might catch an SEC team napping and pull off a 4-8 season. We will see.

No need for the negative Georgia opinions, thank you sir.

Alabama has a good bit to learn when it comes to managing success, and I think it starts with DeBoer.
