I don't do this often, but this time, I'm sorry, I have to say something here. The arrogance of the SEC is just, astounding. Before I start, let me say the SEC is a tremendous conference, maybe the best. But you'd think they invented NFL football and everyone else is so worthless to them that they can't even believe they have to be bothered to actually, you know 'play' the games. Maybe it's because when they do, they don't actually cream everyone the way their arrogant attitude would suggest they do. Witness, Utah v. Alabama in the Tide's back yard last night. I'm sure I'll get a lot of emails, hate emails, maybe another death threat or two like a couple years ago for having the audacity to interfere with the SEC's birthright to claim dominance even when they lose. (Newsflash, you lost that War awhile back too, take the hate flags down, but that's another story for another time.)

LSU played OSU to a draw a few years back on their home field and doesn't have the guts to play on the West Coast. They don't. They don't have the guts to come out West and play someone in the non-conference. A couple years ago, they played their first five or was it six games in the state of Louisiana? Imagine Oregon State playing Western Oregon, Portland State, Eastern Oregon and Southern Oregon in their first four games? The SEC non-conference schedule is a joke and then when they're exposed for having a conference that's equal to others, they whine like children.

I'm not asking them to play USC's non-conference schedule. That would mean they have guts. I'm asking them to play at least one legit non-conference game every year. Look that their schedules, it's pathetic. And when they do play someone decent, they don't exactly roll up anyone big. Ask Tennessee about Cal. Nice job by Georgia a couple years ago against Colorado huh? Barely escaped. OSU-LSU. Georgia squeaks by one of the worst Pac 10 teams in ASU this year. A team Oregon destroyed And on, and on, and on.

SEC fan, coach, player, homer, announcers, it sounds like you'd rather hide with arrogance than play games out on the West coast or against teams in the non-conference that can upset your little set of excuses.
