Likable kid, but you can tell in this interview he just has no dog in him whatsoever. Pretty remarkable that he got to be a starting QB in the SEC actually. Not because the kid doesn’t have some skills, he does, but he is so low energy, so much more worried about making a mistake than he is wanting the ball in his hand at crunch time.

When I coached youth baseball and heard moms or dads yell "DON'T STRIKE OUT!!!!" when their kid was at bat, I knew what would usually happen

I wonder if Thorne is thinking, "Don't turn the ball over, don't mess up."

We all knew that last year when he was buckling under the pressure of the QB battle and had to have the job given to him (not earned) so he “would quit pressing”.

I would throw that pick 6 10/10 times - Thorne

My question is why didn't Freeze know this?? Here's to hoping he's learned something from all this.

In my Dynasty with CFB25. Thorne threw 5 INTs vs Cal. I was like, well at least this is realistic.

Have you subbed in the Frank Sinatra of WRs, The Gentry?

That's why I liked that kid from New Mexico state. He acted like he would drag his balls across broken glass to score then punch the defender in the weiner after he did it.

I think that if Freeze sees Thorne get those jittery darting eyes that he needs a mental break.

Some people get their mojo working under pressure. Some just lose their head.
