I'm not even mad about this one

Being down 28 we just found out what this team is made of in a hostile environment. We will get some players back and make adjustments. Our schedule is brutal and this should give them a lot of confidence moving forward.

We had 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning left and our first instance was to throw a bomb to dillon bell.
I'm glad we scored but could we simply not run the clock out?

I don't get mad about football anymore but I am disappointed. I don't understand how Kirby has not figured out how to avoid these slow starts. This is a recurring problem that goes back years. Take the ball on the coin flip, run a hurry up offense. Do something to combat the lethargy.

I feel like early in the game we should have ran the ball more and got settled in. When you go on the road and go down one score fast, the players are going to be hyped and want to score fast. Games can get away from you fast that way. This was a lesson but I feel better about this team moving forward. We have some great rbs , we need to run the ball more early. I know people are talking about Everett but Humphreys was the one getting thrown on. Humphrey is going to have to be able to play man.

Yes but attack the edge. Bobo at times (or Beck checking out of the play) seems to be stuck on stupid running the A gap over and over even when it's not there.

At some point, UGA needs to be introspective enough to realize that the slow starts aren’t just a harmless quirk and are more likely a symptom of poor preparation. For 1.5 seasons now, UGA is consistently having to adjust mid game to the opponent’s plan, not the other way around. I am not a football savant, but I simply don’t understand why they were caught so unprepared for Alabama attacking the edges in the run game last night.

I like Nate a lot. He needs to be more involved in the play calling as well. Beck checks at the line were not picked up by the wrs. The one check where he threw the int, they stacked the line with 7. Beck did the right check but Arian kept running. Beck has to get the ball out fast. They definitely need to work on their checks.

Starting to think the hype around Allen, Wilson, and Mondon may be overblown.
They are either thinking too much or can't process quick enough to diagnose play. Bama had a lot of eye candy but damn.
I don't think Starks or Aguero had a good game in that regard either.

Maybe, but we shouldn’t need to have 3 future 1st round picks to look competent against a QB sweep

Kirby is 1-6 vs Bama. What the frick are you talking about?

Are we down to our 3rd string center now?

Yeah
Looked like Wilson was walking off field at end of game so hopefully wasn't serious

I am. Why can’t we play from the start of the game like it’s 4th down and we are losing by 3 TDs?

I'm at a loss trying to figure out why Georgia had no answer to the Alabama attack all the way until halftime.
The Dawgs had the extra bye week to prepare. Were there no contingency options in place?

I get what people are saying but each season is different. We have a brutal schedule this year. We have struggled in the first half of games. These problems can be corrected. Being down 28 in Alabama and coming back is a turning point for this team. This is going to be a long season with a 12 team playoff. This team will be battle tested. I have confidence that this team will get this turned around.

Ultimately they need to win. And specifically at a minimum 2/3 vs UT OM and ut. That won’t be easy but I agree the gutsy comeback yesterday could be the kind if thing that ‘makes’ a team.

He should have kneed at the one and forced Bama to use their timeouts.

Was Beck not supposed to throw it to a wide-open receiver?

I have the fears of a 9-3 or worse 8-4 season. I hope it doesn’t come true but like others have said, these cold starts have to stop immediately.
