Offense did a poor job of turning TO to points

4 turnovers and I remember 10 pts. When I saw us piss away offensive opportunities at the end of the first half o was worried we’d get what we got the second half.

Exactly. Until Georgias last three drives I couldn’t really complain about defense too much. Yes they gave up way too many 4th downs but when you have 4 plays to get ten yrds you’re going to be successful more times than not. If the offense scores 37 the first half I don’t think we get out of rhythm and the offense would have been more productive the second half. Got too cute with play calling at end of half.

I hear ya, and there's enough mistakes for our team to work on, but are we really starting negative threads after our new coach just beat the toughest team in the SEC in his conference debut, and we won the biggest regular season game of the year?

Just discussion. Honestly if Bama had traded punches with Georgia and came out with a 41-34 win it would have felt better. But to give up a lead like that was disconcerting at best. Still a lot of meat left on the bone of this schedule. At TN, LSU and Ok. SC is not a gimme and it’s right before travel to TN.

That no call on the blatant PI late in the half was a killer. The catch or penalty would’ve given us the first but instead we had to punt.

Gotta go to Lexington who almost beat that UGA team and did beat Ole Miss.
Outside of Vandy and Mercer I don’t see any cupcakes. And no, Auburn despite their record is not a cupcake. They’ll probably play a clean game against us and look like they did against OU for a couple quarters.

Play calling got too conservative and “cute” halfback options and double reverses when you are moving up and down the field

That’s the point. What I said was not stupid. If they convert those TO which were on our side of the field Georgia never gets close. Sorry you don’t seem to understand the game. You’re being a the sensitive woman here. You came in hot butt hurt because someone made an accurate observation.

Your point about not converting the TOs is a valid observation. But its not valid to say the performance was disconcerting at best. If your take is essentially "im not happy with the win" then you are a fool. If you have nothing positive to say after that game, you should find a different way to spend your time. Life is too short to be miserable all the time.

If you ask Washington fans they’ll tell you that’s kinda KD’s way of playing. I know Bama isn’t Washington but he’s not really the guy to step on some team’s throat for 4 quarters

I'm thrilled to have won. But, if the second half wasn't disconcerting to someone, then that person is an idiot.
Was it circumstantial, and partially because of loss of intensity and less aggressive play calling? Maybe, but, it still happened.
It's a great win, and the future looks bright. But, perfect, it certainly wasn't. Unless you're just a fan that enjoys a dramatic game.
