The worst part is that when Freeze called the time out to talk to Thorne, he knew they were going to p!ss the game away.

If the D had not given up a monster big play, we would be celebrating a big win right now.

If our K made the kicks….

There are about six “if’s” that would have let us win the game. This team is just anemic to winning.

We had 75 plays to their 47 plays, and had the ball 10 more minutes during the game, and still found a way to lose!

Good teams and good coaches find a way to win, and bad teams, and especially bad coaches, find a way to lose....

Bravo! We are at bottom. Who thought Auburn would come to this?
Oh, but crap, you question god Freeze, you must be drunk.
No, the rest of you are football retarded.

We dominated basically every stat and still lost. Incredible.

Our offense/special teams left 13 points on the field and gave up 10 more.
The fricking defense is NOT the problem, they are the reason we have not been blown out in these 3 losses.

And the reason Freeze called that TO was that Thorne opted to pass in the run-pass option 2 consecutive plays when anyone who has watched football for a handful of seasons would know you run there to drain the clock, hit a tired defense, and at a minimum settle for a medium range FG attempt (our FG kicker being the subject for another time).
So my question is, aren’t there times when Freeze can cancel the “option” part of the run-pass option? I mean, Thorne actually made the right call to pass given the D he was seeing…except at that point in the game, we should have run regardless for the reasons I listed above. So can’t Freeze call off the option and basically say, “run the damn ball, even if there are 11 men in the box, because I’m the HC and I said so.”?
I would imagine he can and, if so, that would have been an ideal time to do so. Because in my humble opinion, those were the 2 plays that lost us the game (or at least began the process of loosening our grip on a certain victory).

Yes. He can say into the mic run the ball here
That’s why Jackson Arnold got taken out of the game for Oklahoma last week. They had a run/run option on… told him to hand the ball but he kept on the read for the pass and dropped back and got stripped sacked turnover

This was a bad Oklahoma team and we should have been ahead 27-0 at half time. Poor execution and coaching cost us all our losses so far!
