In his left shoulder. They will shoot him up and he will be fine. But it would be nice if we could get some good hits on him.

I saw when it happened at the end of the Kentucky game. He dove for a first down and came up slumping his shoulder.

Yep. He was in obvious discomfort. We need to be careful about hitting him too hard because you can’t play real football anymore where you actually hit the quarterback. But we need to hit him legally every chance we get.

There will almost certainly be at least one flag thrown.

get the news out early so the stripes understand the "protection racket" is needed

Their injury report is more extensive than is being reported. They had some injuries in the Kentucky game.

We got some guys who can lay the wood. LT Overton has put some big hits on the QB.
Beck will be able to protect himself a good bit when pressured in the pocket. But i think it could limit his running ability. He is gonna have to be cautious when on the run.
He is a dangerous QB for sure, even with a busted left shoulder. We need to get after him early.
Russaw out?

I have no idea. Alabama has a loaded pass rusher group. Pierre is very capable of playing big minutes.

I'll just assume that entire list makes a miraculous recovery, as guys tend to do for big games.

Seems to happen to us a lot.

The offensive line injuries seem pretty serious though and we've seen how big of a factor that was for us. I imagine it will affect them too.

I guarantee he'll look like everything is fine. This is nothing more than Kirby playing mind games.

Nah, he has the same injury Bryce had a few seasons ago. It was plain to see during the game.

Ratledge and Mykel Williams being out is significant. Williams is their best player on defense and likely top 10 draft pick.

Not his throwing arm/shoulder, so he should be good to go with whatever painkillers they shoot him up with.

I'm of the belief that it's worth the flag if you get a good enough hit.

Based CKD's presser, sounds like Russaw is probable to play this week but to what extent remains to be seen. Sounds like Cole Adams and Richard Young are more questionable for this game.

I don't care if they get a penalty for a good hut on the qb as Ling as it's not targeting....hard hits on a qb equals happy feet.

Hell yes. That kid has a motor and a nose for QBs.
