Yes they do. QB is killing the offense. Everything looks horrible because of that.

Right. Drink isn’t going away from Cook.

And we’re back to my original statement.

Problem is the backup is very capable and would really change this offense. Someone better remind him he is the football coach not Cooks foster dad.

That's the problem.

The offense puts pressure on defense cause the offense sucks cause the QB is late, nervous and inaccurate.

Pyne should get the ball at College Station. He won't cause Drink is a loyalist to a fault ... see Ballsack ...

I'm not saying Pyne is John Elway, but I think he allows Moore to open the playbook and get this receivers room involved.

If Saban has the balls to pull his guy at times, there is no reason for Drink not to.

Drink is high on his holier than thou schtick. He will never hold Cook accountable for the shitty offense he runs. And the team will suffer because of his arrogant loyalty.

No worries about Florida poaching Drink ...

Anyone with football IQ would realize that a 2* QB can't take a team to the playoff on defense and running ...

Trent Dilfer college edition won't get it done.

Great kid. Time for Pyne

At Florida he would never have a 2 star QB. Maybe Drink isn't the issue. Moore calls the plays. Why isn't Moore running the same type of plays that Cook thrived on? Why is he asking Cook to throw for chunk plays? Cook was most successful with mid level throws and the wrs get YAC for chunk plays. And mix in 1 long throw to Speedy. And why the designed runs with no play action? Are we sure the OC/QB coach isn't the issue?

Cook doesn't look good, but the O-line also struggled today. Pass protection looked sketchy, and run blocking was inconsistent.

They have work to do.

Cook was holding the ball, cause he had the mental yips and won't risk anything for fear if turnovers. By holding the ball so long, withdrew off the timing on pass protection.

I guess Cook leadership isn't the key to why last year wasn't a fluke. This is similar to what Gary Pinkel did. Let this season go and then the next quarterback should be better. I like what Drink is doing. He is building a good football team and culture. I am still counting on this team to win at least 10 regular season games. I am seeing that this season is a mirror of last season so far.

Winning games as a big favorite is new to me. I'm not going to poo poo this team learning what it is is like to be a top 10 program.

this is great we are learning and still winning.

Cook has earned the right to have a few bad outings.

I will also say I was all on the Horn bandwagon early last year. I was also frustrated at times with gabbert and lock during their time. Kid loves Mizzou and wants to succeed. He’s earned the position. He just needs to relax and quit over thinking each play.
