Until the game is played, there is not much evidence Tennessee will just waltz in and win easily.
The game will settle the arguments.

Tennessee will win this game going away ; their offense is way to potent for almost everyone in the SEC at this point.

Um
Houston and Tulane called
They said to go watch their game against them again.

Nobody said there was. The OP shows that all 7 Oklahoma homers picked the Vols to win.
Not a single one picked OU hahahaha.

Based on FCS, Kent St, and NC State who needed a 4th quarter flurry to beat Western Carolina and also struggled against Louisiana Tech.
If they do the same thing against OU, sure I’ll start to buy it.

All 7 Oklahoma homers are even in-denial about how effective their offense really is.

Let's just put it this way for you
NC State > Tulane
NC State > Tulane

And Oklahoma struggled against these two cupcakes.

NC State is in a better conference and actually got better players through the portal.

Winning in Norman by a large margin just doesn’t happen often. I have to go back a ways to see a home loss by them in blowout fashion.
I can think of like 2 in this century.
I still think it’ll be a fight.

Not sure how much that means, though. For 15+ years, Bob Stoops was a fantastic coach from September through November, and then Lincoln Riley was the perfect coach for a no defense conference. Now they're in a different conference with a different coach playing different schemes.
Like you, I'm interested to see how this goes. My expectation is that Tennessee wins by 14-17 and that this kicks off a 2-7 or 3-6 stretch for OU (holy shite their schedule is brutal). But you never really know this early in the season. Wouldn't be surprised to see OU look much better then they did against Houston.

I’ve heard a lot of local OU insiders pick OU in a close one. You have no idea how hard it is to win in Norman. The stadium is stacked right on top of the field and Nico isn’t going to be able to hear his helmet headset. OUs defense is going to be amped and is a turnover machine. OU matches up really well with TN. I’d pump the brakes until the game is played. Better teams than TN have been ran out of Norman many times.

Anybody with a brain would pick Tulane and Houston over NC state right now on a neutral field.

I think TN will win this game.
But I think it will be more like a 24-10 or 20-7 type game. Possibly a game where it's mostly like that but TN adds a late TD to pad the score due to OU getting tired. I think OU's defense is pretty good. But I don't think OU has the offense to win the game.
Unless Nico wets the bed and throws a bunch of picks. Then who knows? He hasn't played a road game yet.

Tulane is coming off of 12-2 CCG championship season, an 11-3 season last year, and is expected to win out and play in the AAC CCG again this year.
Not a chance in hell NC State is better than them.
Mensah was a Rfr QB media darling setting the world on fire too until he came to Norman.
