LMK if you need any restaurant rec's. We have some good bbq & tex-mex but perhaps surprisingly, we have a very wide variety of asian cuisine
You probably already booked hotels but for future reference and for SC & Bama fans, I highly recommend booking at The Noun before it fills up

A fan base can only muster so much hate. After a while, the hate tank runs low and has to be replenished.
OU and A&M fans unload ALL their hate (i.e. jealousy) on Texas. There's just not any left to go around anywhere else. This is why you will find their fans to be so welcoming and accomodating.
But trust me, they are bastions from the depths of hell when in the presence of Texas fans. And it exhausts them.
You ever notice how A&M never could *really* muster up a rivalry with LSU? They just can't, no matter how hard the Aggie Swag stores tried to promote it. Aggie is not going to waste an ounce of hate on anything but Texas.
Same for OU.

No - OU fans have respect for other programs. We respect tradition. Look at our rivalry with Nebraska, there was no hate - just respect.
We don't respect TexAss - they are the epitome of all hat no cattle. They don't want to keep up - they want to be the Jones'. They cry if they don't think they are. It gives TexAss fans so much heartburn to know that since WWII (the modern era of college football) OU leads the series 40-36-3. They love to talk about Aggie and the 30's, but they cling to that all-time series total with Oklahoma like 1904 will save them. TexAss has no respect for any traditions other than their own. Okies don't deal well with that. We are farmers and oil workers, generally a blue-collar state. We believe in respect. TexAss demands respect, yet they haven't earned it and have no clue how to give it in return. They think they are the biggest dick at the party, and to be honest it's just so much fun shutting them the frick up in October. We don't hate them, we almost feel sorry for them! If they weren't such assholes - we might even be nice to them!
