Walmart and Tyson will have logos on the field at the twenty five yard line.

I hope that we’re getting NIL money and not more bike trails from Walmart…

I've always loved college sports (football especially) because it was a display of American culture with each of the 100's of schools having their own unique quirks and traditions. The focus was on displaying each culture and pushing the human body in the same way the university would push the mind. A certain kind of hopeful idealism was present.

For many years there was a slow shift. Sponsorships here and there, but opening the floodgates of NIL has done more to change the purpose of the game in 2 years than anything in the last 60. It's become all about personal achievement instead of collective. Money instead of substance. Corporations on display instead of cultures.

At the same time I have enjoyed watching in a more general sense the last couple of years than ever before. This is because I feel completely disconnected from it. "The Hogs" are a token franchise to be bid off to Shelter Insurance for a "rivalry" game against Mizzou. Never mind that there is nothing organic about it. While entertaining it still feels more hollow than ever.

Consume product. Get excited for new product.

Maybe I'm just getting old

I bought a 3 gallon air pump at the Walmarks for a reasonable price yesterday to air up my lawnmower tire, it worked real good.

The outfield wall at lsu’s baseball park is littered with advertisements. No big deal as far as I’m concerned.

I’m going to be honest that the Walmart logo doesn’t look that bad.

More bike trails won't win you more games.

Don’t be mean, the homeless need a place to set up and do drugs and sexually assault eachother and young girls.

I don't give a shite if they replace the entire Hog logo with a giant chicken nugget wrapped in Sam Waltons face.

If those boys bring top national NIL, then that's all that matters.

As long as we are benefiting monetarily through NIL. I do not care.

Old school no advertising anywhere inside the stadium is gone.
