To be fair Brian Kelly actually lost 2 games for the SEC this weekend because Texas A&M would’ve beaten Notre Dame if he was still the coach there .

Danielson is a Purdue grad and is probably ecstatic to get to call his teams games after all these years.

Can't say I'm a fan of the new media contracts. The SEC belongs on CBS, instead it's on the ABC/ESPN networks.

The CBS schedule has a lot of underwhelming matchups. Indiana-UCLA for example.

That’s on CBS. They balked at paying $350 million for the marquee SEC game each week and are now stuck paying $300 million for the 3rd best BIG game

Why is the ABC ESPN ticker so large?

It takes up damn near half the screen

The SEC was on ABC for years prior to the rights being purchased by CBS.

I kinda miss the CBS games already, especially after having to listen to the bastardized versions of the 90's ESPN/ABC theme music they're playing during the SEC on ABC games.

While those teams are usually not good at football, IU has one of the largest student enrollments in the country and UCLA is in the second largest media market in America so I see why they want to put that game out there. But most of us on these boards don’t care about that game so it won’t matter to us.

ABC gave us Clemson vs Georgia, then Miami vs Florida, then TAMU vs Notre Dame.

CBS was entertaining the masses with Ohio State vs Akron in their primetime slot. More where that came from. Or should we say less?

Doesn't Fox have first dibs?

For what they just paid? That would be something. Plus NBC gets some of these so-called marquee games

3:30 in the afternoon is a prime time slot?
