We need to stomp McNeese St from the get go. Y’all watch everybody else that opened up week 1 with cupcakes? Most were 50+ point wins, we need to do that as well.

Historically these are games we win easily but it’s something like 42-17. I want 60-0. Come out and dominate the game from the get go. Get offense all the reps we can.

Don’t know what we’ll learn this Saturday that will really mean anything. But one at least hopes we go through ‘em like shite through a goose.

Weigman needs to look absolutely stellar. 6 TDs stellar. Otherwise we should move to Jaylen.

You can definitely see something positive. If he comes out and the offense looks pedestrian again it may be time to consider a change.

I get the guy played bad and the criticism is justified but I’ve been pretty disappointed in the way A&M fans have attacked the kid personally.

First post since the game... man what terrible terrible QB play. The worst case in my head wasn't s bad as Weigman. How on earth did it happen? Let us just hope it was a really really good ND defense mixed with a QB (and team) still learning the system. But I fear Weigman is just a guy. Lets see if we can get right vs McNeese and start building back up vs UF.

Close game, blow out, great game by Weigman.
Any of the above, we need to see Jaylen get some snaps this week, can't repeat the mistakes of the last regime with riding with a bad QB for too long.

I kind of want Reed to get a shot. Do I think he's a great QB? No. But at worst, he has serious speed which gives the offense something.

I have been lower on Weigman than most of our fans on here for a while but even I was surprised at how bad he looked. The run fits/pursuit was pretty concerning too.

I liked what we ran offensively, especially in the first half. Receivers were open. Weigman just missed throws

This is going to be one of those games where we win 24 to 10 and we let ourselves believe the lie that “we could’ve scored more if we would’ve wanted to we were focusing on working out the kinks and giving players opportunities”

I don’t think anyone with half a brain would agree.

Agreed (with you). But no matter what, I don’t think we will learn anything meaningful in a game like this, good or bad. In the Swamp, even though they are in turmoil, will at least tell us something.

What score would make you feel okay (as okay as a McNeese game can be)?

I want 50+ to <10.

Heads up, guys. Weigman had the first bad game of his career against an elite defense after getting a new coach and QB and having to come back from an early-season injury last year. It's all the way up for us.

McNeese is in for a rough time on Saturday. I think it'll be 69-3

Remember what he did against Ole Miss in his first start as a true freshman?

He's not just a guy.
