Austin is better than both. Free Mack.

I’m personally still waiting for Phillip Sims to take the reigns

Saw P Sizzle at Hotel Capstone while I was on campus back in the day. I truly believe he was on the phone with the UVA coaches lol.

Two different staffs have evaluated and determined this is not factual. I know we all would like Simpson to be that guy but he just isn’t, at least not yet.

I think two different staffs have been handcuffed by the emotions of people in and around the program. Milroe has done a great job marketing himself as QB1, has clearly won the locker room, and is a great representative.
But Ty Simpson is a better quarterback.

Based on zero evidence.

Go watch a football game, I guess.
Ty has better pocket presence, makes quicker decisions, evades pressure better, sees the field better, etc.
And he’s pretty damn good running, too.

Don't think Bama can be successful with Ty being a running QB. Milroe looks to be locked in based on winning the locker room, but I think Simpson is in a Hurts/Tua situation. Mack will pass him do to being a better passer, more accurate, less TO prone and Ty will have to transfer but will be great elsewhere. Hate it for him cause he and Mack get along well, both leaders.

This isn’t a serious post.
Did you watch Mack at A-Day? Mack doesn’t have a single QB attribute that is better than Ty or Longeran.

He looked sharp on that first drive, but after that there is no objective evidence to support your claim, especially the pick he threw on the bad roughing / targeting call.
Anyone looking for things to be concerned about need to look at the blocking up front. Pritchett got torched on the edge a few times, we had the bad snap/cadence issue and threw in a few penalties to go with it.
Some of those ten carries for Milroe were a direct result of blown blocks. When Milroe decisively attacked the vacant gaps they left with their pressure it was turning lemons into lemonade, but we need to clean things up at the LOS. In fact if he can do that consistently he could have a Jayden Daniels level season, but I’d rather him not have to scramble around a broken pocket every few snaps.
We figure out the OL with Haynes, Milroe and the depth at WR we should be absolutely elite offensively.

I thought so last year - I don't think so any more. If we are looking at the QB position as a whole, Milroe is our guy. Are there elements of Ty's game that may SEEM better - maybe at times. But he is not under the pressure of being the starting QB and might take risks as the 2nd man he would either not take as the first man or would get burned taking them. The 2nd man doesn't carry the weight of the first man. My opinion - Milroe is our guy. And my opinion means nothing

Coaches probably paid for his travel expenses to Charlottesville, dude wasn’t any good and we already had our guy.

Definitly more accurate, taller, stronger in the pocket. Has modern QB measurable. Less TO prone. Also he didn't work with the first team Oline at Aday. He is a passing QB, Ty Simpson being a running QB just won't work.
