Keeping a coaching staff around after they know they are going to be fired at the end of the season is a horrific decision. That's what Tennessee did with Dooley.
Not that they are going to feel that way in week 1, but if they are like 1-5 or some shite, they better do it now rather than later, while having at least giving the interim coach the idea they have a chance to continue, and the staff the idea they might still have a job next year.
I think Napier should start the true freshman QB and show some promise for the future if he wants any chance at keeping his job. Their offense looked like shite until the 4th quarter when he came in. The 1st string QB/offense didn't convert a single 3rd down until then.
If they look like they did today in more games, better fire him sooner rather than later though.

This team doesn't look any better now than we did in year 1. FFS, there are still 52 blue chip players on our roster.

They could not run but had to when the Frosh was in because he was gonna throw to both teams.

Miami might be like super badass and be undefeated in the regular season and the loss not seem so bad if Florida won a couple. Just saying. No point in firing him now

It will all depend on how far gone the locker room is after a few more beatings like today. As well as what recruiting looks like, but I,can’t imagine that going well enough to prevent being axed before the UGA game.
