I missed this entire season because I was in basic training. Our DS let us listen to the championship game on the radio.

Was not a good time

12-0 probably. 11-1 at worst.

I could see wanting the 2017 offense but not if you have to take that defense.

Fully healthy with demarco Murray? They wouldn’t lose a game. 3 top 5 draft picks..

Against the same teams with 2008 players, OU goes 12 - 0.

The changes in the game are pretty large in 16 years. Bradford, the OL, WRs, and Murray as RB could all play now. The defense would have some trouble due to the difference in play.

Wait a minute... Y'all listened to a football game in Army Basic TRNG?

I admire your honesty...

Yeah it was a weird timing thing. I left for Ft Benning in August and graduated in January. They sent us home for Christmas but at that point we had already completed cleaned/turned everything in. All we did when we came back was wake up pt eat chow and wait to graduate. One of the drill sgts brought a radio in for that night because he liked me and knew I was a Sooner fan.

A couple of times, we had the option of watching "The Snow Show" or "The Rainbow Show"....

Spurrier would have ruined the Sooner's 2008 season.

8-4 and that's with a win over the Shorthorns and Viles.

They were 11-2? against a schedule that included power houses TCU, Baylor, Kansas and K State. The 11 games they won cam against opponents where 63-59, a combined 2 games above .500. Not exactly tough scheduling...but it is OU so it would be hard to find a season when they did indeed have a tough schedule...
