That was the second to most recent time I ever doubted our team (2008 Georgia was the next, obviously). God that was such a great night.

And Donta Hightower recovering a fumble on his second play
You can't teach the kind of instincts Hightower had. He had a gift

I uploaded the highlights on YouTube 16 years ago and somehow they never removed it. All the highlights on that profile were made by the university.

I still remember getting chills when they were lined up in the tunnel.

All I remember were Auburn and LSU fans sounding off every day about how bad Clemson was going to murder us leading up to that game. Every. Single. Day.

Remember they came close to beating Auburn in 2007 too which gave them more ammo.

Of course, after we administered a category five arse beating, suddenly the narrative shifted to "Clemson was overrated". That's around the time I started to realize these dumb fricks were unabashed clowns and anything they predict, bet the opposite.

The combination of this game and the blackout in Athens a month later are probably some of the happiest moments of the Saban era for me. You knew we were cooking and it was only the beginning.

Mt Cody stuffing the middle was a beautiful thing.

Charlie Higgenbotham with a sack at the end of the 4th. He was a friend of friends in college, super nice dude.

I really did enjoy that Georgia game, but we have a history of that against them, Tennessee and LSU when it is unexpected. My two most personal favorites are beating Texas (2009 team) and Miami (1992 team) for the National Championship.

Page is totally ruined by that “keep an eye on the Cleveland browns, here’s why.”

They went 4-12 that year.
